During this conversation at the Mexican Consulate headquarters in midtown Manhattan, I connected with two key allies in the upcoming projects I’m developing to promote Mexican culture and celebrate the talent in my community. To my right, Consul of Communities Felix Santana welcomed me to his office to discuss immigration, supporting indigenous people, and how to strengthen the Mexican economy here in New York City.

I also met Consul of Culture, Liliana Saldaña who shares my love for fashion. With her background as the Executive Director of the Mexican Cultural Institute of New York, she stands out as a solid mentor for me.
